Tapping Into Solutions: The Future of Water

Residents and neighbors of Milwaukee, Wisconsin: mark your calendars! The Environmental Leadership Program is holding a national conference, Tapping Into Solutions: The Future of Water, in Milwaukee in late September and River Network will be there to talk about the water-energy-climate connection.

This three day ELP sponsored event will take place next month, September 27-29. Special guests will include U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Mayor of Milwaukee Tom Barrett, and President of Badger Meter Rich Meeusen.

Here is the ELP's discription of this awesome sounding conference:

Attend the Environmental Leadership Program's 2010 National Conference and hear from over 50 speakers on topics ranging from the water energy nexus and urban rivers to sustainable water in a changing climate and water as a human right.

Conference participants and speakers come from academia, business, government and non-profit sectors and will engage in interactive forums as well as several off-site learning opportunities as we explore the local innovation initiatives in the water sector in and around Milwaukee.

But there is even more reason for excitement! River Network's own Bevan Griffiths-Sattenspiel will be one of the speakers contributing to the event!
