Earlier this week, a group of water and energy experts testified before the Senate for a hearing on the recently introduced Energy/H20 Bill. If passed, the bill will facilitate (through funding and reporting requirements) much-needed research on the water-energy nexus. The explicit purpose of the bill is to establish the knowledge necessary to increase the integration of water and energy policies. Some big names have been gathered to testify on behalf of the bill.
