River Network is going to be presenting at a seminar in Kansas City, MO hosted by WaterWi$e, one of six Sustainable Skylines-Kansas City projects. The half-day event will take place December 16 and will include presentations from Alliance for Water efficiency and University of Texas at Austin, among others.
The Metropolitan Energy Center, Mid-America Regional Council and Environmental Protection Agency–Region 7 are sponsoring a panel of national and international experts to explore the effects of water systems on energy and air quality. This half-day event is for professionals from governments, nonprofits, utilities and businesses who are interested in air and water quality, climate change and resource management. Topics include water efficient fixtures, water retention, efficient irrigation and water efficient plantings.
The event will take place at the Discovery Center on Kansas City's Urban Conservation Campus from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
