Adrienne Atwell

Adrienne Atwell serves as River Network's Board Secretary. Adrienne is a Risk/ Insurance professional, specializing in environmental, climate and public sector risks.

With over twenty years cumulative experience at Swiss Re, J&H/ Marsh, and AIG Environmental, Adrienne has delivered numerous tailored financial and insurance solutions for clients’ environmental/ sustainable development, natural catastrophe, weather and climate risks. Working with governments and nonprofit organizations at state, federal and international levels, Adrienne has addressed issues such as disaster risk management, environmental pollution, brownfields development, emerging risks and alternate energy technologies. At Swiss Re, Adrienne contributed to publications on Water Quality and Water Availability and analysis of risk associated with non-point source pollution. She additionally participated in the “Climate Change Futures” project and publication, undertaken jointly by Harvard University’s Medical School and the UNDP. Adrienne continues to speak frequently on expert panels addressing environmental and public sector risks.
