Bevan works on helping River Network Partners understand, communicate and address global warming through water and energy. Currently spending his time as the Saving Water, Saving Energy project coordinator, Bevan comes to River Network fresh out of school where he received a B.A. in American Studies with an environmental emphasis from Occidental College.

While at Occidental, Bevan was involved with his campus’ environmental club and worked as an intern for New America Foundation's Political Reform Program.

Specializing in the expansive field of global warming, Bevan spends his time at River Network looking into ways for river and watershed groups to address climate change. Focusing specifically on the multiple intersections between water and energy, feel free to contact Bevan if you have any questions about:

  • Climate change and its predicted impacts on our watersheds
  • How to begin calculating the energy embedded in your local water system
  • How clean energy, such as wind and PV solar, can save our rivers
  • Saving water and energy through efficiency
  • The water/energy nexus
