River Network wishes to thank the following foundations for their support of the Rivers and Habitat Program.
C.S. Mott Foundation has provided long term support of the work to improve the education of citizens and the implementation of the Clean Water Act in the Great Lakes and southeast states. Recently, the Mott Foundation has focused their support on our work to inform and influence the implementation of programs to control stormwater pollution.
The McKnight Foundation has provided long term support of the work to improve the education of citizens and the implementation of the Clean Water Act in the Mississippi River basin states. Recently, this support has focused on River Network’s support of the Mississippi River Water Quality Collaborative, a ten state directed project of the McKnight Foundation.
The W.C. Kenney Watershed Foundation provided seed funding for the Clean Water West Project. This funding has been critical to developing a plan for the project -- performing a regional survey of current work and needs in the Intermountain West as well as an initial policy analysis of some of the states in the region.
River Network also wishes to thank the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for its funding of the project led by Trust for Public Land and the Smart Growth Leadership Institute entitled “Enabling Source Water Protection: Aligning State Land Use and Water Protection Programs.” River Network is a subcontractor on that project. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has also contributed funds to the development of our source water protection materials and trainings in general.
River Network wishes to thank Stormwater Management, Inc., now CONTEC, for contributing substantial funding to the production of the second edition of The Clean Water Act Owner’s Manual.
River Network also wishes to thank its individual donors who contribute to the success of all the programs. We could not do it without you.
