Mr. Wm. Patrick Lucey, Aqua-Tex Scientific Consulting Ltd. will deliver a Keynote Presentation on Integrated Resource Recovery during lunch on October 20. Mr. Lucey is the president of Aqua-Tex Scientific Consulting Ltd and a senior aquatic ecologist. He is also a co-author of a report commissioned by the province of BC, entitled “Resources From Waste: Integrated Resource Management” which reviewed the integration of decentralized wastewater treatment, water reuse and energy capture to create closed-loop urban water and energy systems that make a profit for communities.

A facility tour of the Barnstable Wastewater Treatment Plant in Hyannis, MA will be offered to attendees on Tuesday, October 19. The tour will highlight the plant's new energy program including: VFD installation on pumps, blowers and fans, SCADA and wind and solar installations.

Engineers, Operators, Managers, Consultants, Planners, Representatives from local, state and federal agencies and others are encourage to attend.
