A vital part of our nation’s economic recovery will be to restore the Great Lakes. The Healing Our Waters® – Great Lakes Coalition invites you to the shores of Lake Erie to reunite with friends, celebrate our successes, and develop strategies to advance Great Lakes restoration and economic recovery. The conference will address critical issues such as securing long-term congressional funding for Great Lakes restoration, developing strategies to ensure that new federal investments result in measurable ecological and economic progress, and establishing the coalition’s restoration priorities for 2011 and beyond.
