The Alliance is offering the first-ever “Website Sprint” at this year’s Chesapeake Watershed Forum. This annual gathering of land and water conservationists will be held at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV from November 11 - 14, 2010. At the sprint, Water Words That Work, LLC (a.k.a me) and ThinkShout (a.k.a Sean Larkin) will lead watershed associations, waterkeepers, land trusts, soil and water districts, RC&Ds, and related organizations through a comprehensive, hands-on process of training and sessions to build a complete, attractive, powerful, and easy-to-use website for their organization.

It's not just another training -- you'll build a terrific website during the sprint and you'll get to keep it when we're done.

The Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds, the Chesapeake Bay Trust, and the Keith Campbell Foundation are supporting the effort by providing scholarships to river groups in PA, MD, WV, VA, NY, and DE. These scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
