Call for Proposals
You are invited to propose workshop or plenary presentations at the Watershed Forum to be held this fall, September 28th-30th, in Albuquerque. Watershed group staff and members, restoration practitioners, contractors, Tribal leaders, and agency staff are encouraged to submit an application. Individuals or a panel of speakers may apply to lead a workshop or present at a plenary event. Two separate applications may also be submitted to present at both a workshop and during a plenary session. Applications are due no later than July 7th, 2010.

The Forum, which exceeded 300 participants in 2008, offers an opportunity to meet with a broad audience of watershed and forestry professionals and the general public. If your presentation is accepted, you would present on the first or second day, September 28th or 29th, and you will become eligible for free registration, a 1-night stay at the hotel, and a mileage stipend.

Event Details
The New Mexico Watershed Forum will bring together watershed groups, non-governmental organizations, contractors, Tribes and Pueblos, soil and water conservation districts, and local, state, and federal agencies interested in watershed management and protection. Presentations and workshops will provide tools and information for people involved in watershed restoration on the ground. A day of field trips will provide on-site experience with restoration projects.

The New Mexico Watershed Forum will provide opportunities for local leadership to team up and share successes, challenges, and innovations while networking and discussing watershed issues. A Call for Presenters will be emailed in early June and be made available on the Forum website www.watershedforum.org soon. Please consider submitting a proposal for a plenary presentation, workshop, or informational poster.

Come share your experience and learn from others!
