Join Your Local Watershed Group

One the very best things about working at River Network is that we get to be inspired, virtually every day, by the heroic deeds of thousands of grassroots advocates across the U.S. who are working at the local level to make our environment a better place.

The Friends of Merrymeeting Bay. Amigos Bravos. Yukon Inter-tribal Watershed Council. Friends of the Los Angeles River. The Stilly-Snohomish Fish Task Force. Jesus People Against Pollution. The Bronx River Alliance. The Dog River Clearwater Revival. The Lefthand Watershed Oversight Group. Alliance for the Great Lakes. The Louisiana Bucket Brigade.

The list goes on and on – groups working at every scale in every type of political, social and natural environment. We feel better every day and sleep better every night knowing these extraordinary groups of people can be found in every part of the U.S.

But they need your support. They're working long hours on little or no pay. The challenges before them are immense; their resources limited.

You can help in countless ways by volunteering, whether it's helping out at a stream cleanup or offering your professional expertise. Your financial support is also deeply appreciated. Every dollar and every hour you contribute makes a huge difference.

If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to visit our interactive map to find a local Partner group near you. You can also search for a River Network Partner using our Partner database. We hope you'll lend them your support!
