Key Partnerships

River Network believes in the power of the many. The challenges we face are so vast and so complex that no one organization can solve them alone.

Partnerships of one kind or another are fundamental to everything that we do.

In addition to our Partnership program with grassroots organizations, we also partnered with Native American tribal leaders to create an Indigenous Waters Network.

We partner with forward-looking leaders in the business community, like Tom's of Maine.

We build partnerships around key issues, like climate change, by taking part in other networks like the Carpe Diem project.

Our staff plays a leading role in regional partnerships, such as the Chesapeake Bay Capacity Building Initiative and the Upper Mississippi Water Quality Collaborative.

And we partner with peer groups like the Institute for Conservation Leadership and the Environmental Support Center to ensure that our services are delivered in a coherent and cost-effective manner.

Working together, we can change the world.
