The National River Heroes Banquet

After the excitement that comes from workshops, networking, field trips, engaging conversations and a myriad of other interactions with peers, River Rally is capped each year by the National River Heroes awards banquet.

At River Rally 2011 we celebrated five extraordinary River Heroes & our J. Compton recipient who have provided leadership, inspired others, fostered the growth and sustainability of a watershed community and utilized innovative strategies to achieve significant results.

The evening always carries on with live music, dancing and celebration of all of our achievements! Our thanks to Papa String Band for keeping us dancing until the lights went out.
