US House Poses All Out Environmental Assault

The U.S. House of Representatives has launched an all-out assault on the environment by massively slashing funding for Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act regulation, stripping regulators of authority, and by eliminating an amendment to the spending bill that would remove billions of dollars of taxpayer subsidies for oil companies.

Hear what the National Wildlife Federation, American Rivers and Clean Water Network have to say about this potential national tragedy.

Also, now is the time to connect with your local state representative to let them know that you will not stand for this all out assault on clean air and water for future generations to come. NWF has organized a series of grassroots opportunities to connect with state representatives in Ohio, Oregon, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania this Thursday through Saturday.
