ORGANIZATIONAL STRENGTH

• Fundraising database access (Org/Gov’t: The NOZA database of charitable giving contains over 47,000,000 records of gifts made by individuals, corporations, and foundations across the country. Partners will gain access to NOZA for FREE — an $800 savings! ** (excludes consultants/business Partners)
• Grant opportunities (Org/Gov’t Partners): In 2009, River Network awarded over $100,000 in regrants and contests. Only current Partners are eligible to apply for these funds.
• Insurance (Org/Gov’t Partners): River Network partners receive a discounted group rate for Directors and Officers (including Employee Dishonesty) and General Liability (including optional automobile and property) insurance for renewing Partners. Contact Dawn DiFuria for details.
• Aflac Added Value Insurance (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): All staff and Board members of current organizational Partners are eligible for Aflac’s Association rate on Accident, Specified Health, Cancer and Hospital coverage. Organizations and businesses that adopt a payroll account save even more!
• Pending: Exploratory Employee Assistance Program (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): An EAP could increase staff productivity and happiness by providing an outlet for office and personal challenges.

TRAINING & ASSISTANCE

• River Rally Conference Discount (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): Partners are eligible for a discounted River Rally registration rate of up to 25% (this year’s savings was $270 per attendee!)
• Scholarships to River Rally (Org/Gov’t Partners): Many River Network Partners need additional financial support to attend River Rally, which we provide through scholarships. Average savings: $200-$250 per attendee!
• Webinars (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): Partners will now be able to join FREE quarterly live webinars and archived recordings on the issues that matter most to you! Non-Partners will be able to access the webinars for $50 each, making this a $200 value annually!
• One-on-one assistance or training (Org/Gov’t Partners): River Network staff offer one-on-one assistance or small group trainings on issues related to strategic planning, Board development, fundraising, campaign planning, the Clean Water Act, water efficiency and reuse, water quality monitoring, health assessments and more. Preference is given to working with current Partners.

  Partners receive quarterly River Voices and bi-annual River Fundraising Alerts, a $60 value per year!
• Studies and Reports on Leading Areas of Interest (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): River Network periodically releases cutting-edge studies that report national trends and developments back to Partners.
• Resources for your Board of Directors and for New Staff (Org/Gov’t Partners): River Network understands that it is challenging to keep up with the skills needs of an ever-changing Board and staff. We create materials and webinars tailored specifically to Board members and new staff for your use.

• Watergrass Database Design: Watergrass is a web-based database for managing members, donors, volunteers and campaigns. It customizes the powerful Salesforce platform for the needs of river and watershed groups. It simplifies Salesforce's many complex features, while allowing groups to integrate database, website, and email and to automate workflow. As of January 2012, the price will be $3,000. But River Network Partners receive a $350 discount, which more than pays for a year of most groups River Network Partnership!
• Grassroots Fundraising Journal: Tap into the countless tools, tips and strategies for increasing your organization's income diversity and sources of funding found in the Grassroots Fundraising Journal. Get 25% off ($30 rate) for a one-year subscription and unlimited access to the Journal archive of over 350 articles to help you be a better fundraiser.
• Global Water Monitoring Equipment (Org/Gov’t Partners): Partners are eligible to receive a 10% discount on all water quality monitoring products through Global Water.
• Help with Acquiring Office, Monitoring & Education Items (Org/Gov’t Partners): Partners can post a Wish List on our site that asks for a donation of particular products and equipment. River Network then works to match concerned citizens and companies that posses these products to the appropriate organization.
• Outdoor Apparel & Equipment (Org Partners): Join River Network's ProMotive Team. Staff of River Network Partner organizations will receive pro-deals (e.g., discounts of up to 60%) for over 90 companies, including Bending Branches, Teva, Camp Chef...even Jelly Belly.
• Orion Magazine: Receive a 57% discounted year-long (6 publications a year), or 58% off a two-year subscription to ORION magazine.
• Pending: Exploratory Website Package and Training Track (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): River Network is investigating how to meet the web development needs of Partners.

NETWORKING

• Networking opportunities, both online and in-person (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): Through our online forums, our listserv, our National River Rally and regional trainings, you are able to connect with other Partners grappling with similar issues.
• Listserv (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): Partners can pose questions to one another via our listserv. Often, compiled responses are sent back out and posted on the Partner-only website for future viewing.
• Locating experts (Org/Gov’t Partners): If you are looking for expertise in a particular field, River Network may be able to recommend highly skilled individuals.
• Inspiration and a Sense of Camaraderie (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): Many Partners have expressed that being part of a network of like-minded individuals helps them feel less alone and provides the support structure they need to continue to work tirelessly for water conservation and restoration.

PROMOTION

• Publicity (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): We regularly publicize Partners’ Stories & Alerts on our website, in our electronic newsletter eStream, in River Voices and in reports to foundations, which enables them to gain greater national level exposure.
• Advertise jobs, volunteer opportunities and events (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): Whenever you have jobs, volunteer opportunities or events, post them for free on our website.
• List publications and merchandise for sale in our marketplace (Org/Gov’t, Business Partners): If you sell books, mugs, shirts or pencil holders, you’ll now be able to market them in our online store, which will take purchasers to your website for payment processing. This service is free to River Network Partners.
• Exhibitor Table Discount at River Rally (Business Partners): Business Partners are eligible for a $100 (20%) discount on an exhibitor table at our annual National River Rally.
