T-Shirt Design Contest

Designs are due: January 16, 2012

It's the 13th River Rally and we need your help! Now, don't get us wrong: we can be downright creative if we want to, but for 2012, we want to bask in the creativity of our people. That's right - we want to give you the distinct honor of designing the River Rally 2012 t-shirt.

All design submissions will be reviewed by the River Rally Advisory Committee. The top 6 designs will be voted on by Waterkeeper Alliance members and River Network Partners. The winning artist will receive a $500 registration scholarship to attend River Rally 2012, his/her design on our event t-shirt AND (yes, it is true) a River Rally t-shirt in the size of his/her choice.

Items the shirt must incorporate:
Note: we are planning on a 2 color design. The color of the t-shirt will be determined after the design is selected. All to say, simple is better. The design should be for the front of the t-shirt only.

• Original artwork (e.g., copyright infringement is right out)

Items that could be included/incorporated:

• "River Rally 2012"
• River Rally tag-line: "Education, Inspiration, Celebration"
• Unofficial Cheer: "Rally Ho!"
• Location: "Portland, Oregon"
• River Rally Dates: "May 4-7, 2012"
• River Rally Logo

Items that will be on the back

• Waterkeeper Alliance Logo
• River Network Logo
• Other information we determine we need, but can't think of now

You must be a current River Network Partner or Waterkeeper Alliance member to participate.

I can't speak for all committee members, but I do know at least one member who appreciates humor. But remember - just because we don't understand you, doesn't make you an artist.
