Tired of beating your head against the Clean Water Act, looking for a solution to agricultural pollution problems? Non-point agricultural pollution is arguably our nation’s biggest water quality problem, but unfortunately there’s not much being done at the federal level to fix it. Let’s take a fresh look at some relatively straightforward regulatory mechanisms that could be adopted at a state level to begin cleaning up our watersheds, learning from states that have already adopted them. We will look at the important elements of a handful of agricultural rules, and send you away with some strategies you can use to advocate for cleaner water in your home state.
