This presentation, given by Mary Ann Dickinson, the Executive Director of the Alliance for Water Efficiency, in March 2008, looks at how water conservation programs and improvements in efficiency are often the best, most economically viable strategies for providing enough water to meet our growing residential, industrial and commercial demands. The presentation explores how it is often more cost-effective and environmentally sustainable to meet water demands through conservation as opposed to expanding infrastructure to tap into new sources.
