FAQ on Application of Interest for the Safe and Affordable Drinking Water Peer Learning Cohort
Question: How do you define “urban” for the purposes of this program?
Answer: For the purposes of the Safe and Affordable Drinking Water Peer Learning Cohort, we define “urban” as the geographic areas contained within any designated metropolitan statistical area (MSA) or micropolitan statistical area (µSA) as defined by the US Office of Management and Budget. A 2015 map of these areas may be found here. Entities working outside of those areas will also be considered, as long as they partner with entities in their nearby MSA or µSA.
