You are invited to share your expertise at River Rally 2019!
Each year at River Rally, River Network connects newer conservation professionals experiencing unique challenges with top-notch leaders in conservation or community organizing. The mentorship program is certainly a highlight for young attendees and has been incredibly popular in the past. If you are interested in serving as a Mentor at River Rally 2019, please submit the form, below.
Mentors volunteer their time for 1 hour time slots during River Rally (June 21 – 24, 2019). In the first week of May, River Network will publish mentor bios and topics of interest in an email to all River Rally registrants. Mentors define their own specialties/topics of interest, which may include developing your leadership skills, designing programs to effect behavior change, building your board, fundraising, managing your group’s finances, science and data collection, engaging tribes and other communities in your work, engaging recreationists, designing monitoring projects, and so many other possibilities. Mentorship sessions will take place in the common space near River Rally registration at the Westin Cleveland Downtown. River Network will connect you with your mentees ahead of River Rally.
