Teresa Davis is an altruistic and creative individual who for many years, has demonstrated her passion for ameliorating the lives of others, by way of her professional work experience in the legal field and her on-going volunteerism. Her graduate studies at Eastern Michigan University, in Educational Psychology, opened the door to research that would later prove efficacious, for creating change among the at-risk and under-served populations. In 2018, Teresa successfully led a crisis counseling team, throughout Southeast Texas, overseeing nine counties, working closely with both state and federal stakeholders, in response to Harvey hurricane, focused on advocacy, community engagement, resiliency, and restoration. Teresa is also a visionary and has been honored and privileged to help build over five start-up organizations & programs. Teresa has spiritual insight and practices living everyday with purpose. Teresa enjoys composing music, producing & directing short film narratives, travelling, and cooking. Teresa is also known for being adventurous and willing to explore new ideas and opportunities.
