World Environment Day Event Information

Anheuser-Busch has collaborated with River Network since 2010 to host more than 175 World Environment Day volunteer events across the United States. More than 40,000 volunteers have collaborated with local River Network member groups to remove nearly 1,000,000 pounds of litter from creeks and rivers, plant more than 65,000 native trees and shrubs, build rain gardens, install recycling stations, and beautify our communities.

Baldwinsville, New York

When: Saturday September 7, 2019 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Rain date: Saturday September 14th

Where: Munro Park, 15 First Street, Camilus, NY 13031

Please meet at the parking lot near the tennis courts and proceed to the canoe launch. After checking in, some volunteers will travel to a separate worksite nearby.

What: Building a rain garden & planting native shrubs to reduce erosion

What to Bring: Closed toes shoes, water bottle, sun protection, work gloves.
