We’re excited to share the State of the Network Survey results! Thank you to the 148 organizations who responded to the survey, which asked about organizational capacity, achievements, challenges, and needs. Already, we’ve used these results to inform our refreshed Strategic Plan aligned with our mission to grow and strengthen a transformational national network of water, justice, and river advocates and we are committed to following up on the areas of most needed foundational support.
Water advocates have an opportunity to influence how new and recurring federal water infrastructure funds are distributed and to reform how State Revolving Fund (SRF) programs operate. This first of its kind, definitive toolkit supports advocates who are seeking to better understand the SRF process, and aims to build their capacity to influence, improve, and access the process of securing funding for communities who need it most and have historically not been able to access SRF dollars.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act we have reissued our transformational Clean Water Act Owner’s Manual! Much has changed since the Manual’s original publication and we are at a fundamentally different time than we were in 1972. The updated Manual provides fundamental tools for interpreting and applying the Act, reflects changes to the Act, and highlights its intersections with environmental justice, climate change, and other longstanding challenges.
